ASUU Considering another Strike, Receives Backlash from Nigerians

Few weeks after the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) suspended its three month strike, the union has said it was “thinking of” going on another strike.

This was revealed by the union’s official Twitter handle in a tweet while replying to a question.

It would be recalled that the union had called off its three-month strike in February after reaching an agreement with the federal government over issues bothering on staff welfare among others.

“Thinking of going on another 3 months strike action,” it tweeted.

However, it is not yet clear if the union was joking or serious about the tweet but the tweet did not go down well with many Nigerians.
