President Tinubu appoints Gbajabiamila Chief of Staff, Akume SGF

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday in Abuja announced the appointment of Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff (COS).

Additionally, Tinubu appointed Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, a former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, as the Deputy Chief of Staff.

This move aims to strengthen the administration and enhance its efficiency.

During a meeting with the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), the President also named George Akume, the former Governor of Benue State and immediate past Minister of Special Duties, as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

Akume’s experience and dedication to public service make him well-suited for this important role.

These appointments were officially announced in a statement issued by Abiodun Oladunjoye, the Director of Information, on Friday.
