RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicating with other departments within the company to provide them with financial information they need to do their jobs
- Reviewing financial statements to ensure they are accurate, using accounting software such as QuickBooks to keep track of accounts
- Preparing reports such as profit and loss statements, cash flow analyses, or balance sheets
- Creating budgets and monitoring expenditures to ensure adherence to established budgets
- Working closely with executive management to formulate long-term financial planning strategies for the company
- Reviewing financial statements from external sources such as banks and investment firms
- Preparing reports and analyses that help managers make important business decisions, such as evaluating the performance of specific departments or identifying new business opportunities
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- ACA or ICAN certified is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an accountant in a reputable organization.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to track and manage several projects simultaneously
- Ability to work both under supervision and independently
- Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
